Fall ReportATLANTA — After finishing last spring with six straight losses and missing regionals for the first time since 2018, Georgia Tech had no choice but to hit the reset button. The Yellow Jackets knew well in advance that their 2024 roster would have to look dramatically different from the 2023 club, because Tech lost eight everyday starters from a lineup that ranked fourth in the nation in batting and 11th in slugging. Many of those now-departed players were mainstays on NCAA tournament teams in 2021 and ’22, so their departure marks a changing of the guard at Georgia Tech.
