2022 Fall Report: Nevada

Rebuilding a college baseball team in an offseason is nothing new. You lose some players to graduation, you lose some to professional baseball, and increasingly, you lose some to the transfer portal. 

But there’s rebuilding and then there’s the level of turnover that Nevada dealt with this past offseason. When new head coach Jake McKinley took over in July, he asked for an up-to-date roster that included only players confirmed to be returning to the program. The list had 13 names on it.
