Dollander Dominates, Bats Awaken As Vols Even Series

KNOXVILLE, Tenn. – There was a bit of a role reversal that occurred between Friday and Saturday after the host Volunteers lost to Notre Dame in the first game of the Knoxville Super Regional. In that game the Irish stood out in all phases on their way to a Game One victory. On Saturday it was Tennessee that had the complete day, riding a dominant starting pitching performance and a huge inning offensively to even the best-of-three series with a convincing 12-4 victory.
