D1Baseball Top 25: Campbell, DBU, Auburn enter rankings

The top five remains the same in the D1Baseball Top 25 rankings, with Wake Forest holding steady at No. 1, followed by Arkansas, LSU, Florida and TCU. Vanderbilt drops three spots to No. 9 after losing at home to Dayton and Gonzaga during a 3-2 week, allowing Oregon State, Texas A&M and Tennessee to move up one spot apiece to Nos. 6, 7 and 8, respectively.
Clemson, East Carolina and Duke maintain their positions in the next three spots, and Virginia moves up one spot to No. 13 after a 3-0 showing at the Jacksonville Classic, highlighted by high-end wins against Iowa and Auburn.
North Carolina falls two spots to No. 17 after dropping two of three in a traveling series against ECU. Texas and Alabama each move up one placed to 15 and 16 after undefeated weeks.
This is more movement toward the back of the rankings, as Iowa, UCLA and Kansas State fall out of the Top 25, creating some room for teams to move up and three new teams to enter. Campbell jumps in at No. 21 after a 4-0 week that included a midweek victory against ECU, on the heels of a quality series win against UC Santa Barbara, which slips two spots but remains in the rankings at No. 24 after taking two of three at Sacramento State.
Dallas Baptist and Auburn also join the rankings at No. 23 and No. 25, respectively. The Patriots remain undefeated after a 4-0 week highlighted by a midweek win against Oklahoma. The Tigers went 2-1 in Jacksonville, with a quality win against Iowa as well as a tight loss to Virginia.
D1Baseball editors and national writers determine the Top 25 rankings. Records are through games of Feb. 25.
